Unsere Lieblings-Flamingos sind zurück mit einem neuen Movie und dieser wurde komplett bei Nacht, nur mit Licht vom Vollmond gefilmt!
Nachdem wir den letzten Film von Jochen Mesle und Max Kroneck “Ice & Palms” bereits übermäßig gefeiert haben, sind wir auch von dem aktuellen Projekt absolut begeistert. Dieses Mal sind die beiden Freeskier nur bei Nacht unterwegs gewesen und haben auf künstliche Belichtung komplett verzichtet – einzig allein der Vollmond wurde als Lichtquelle genutzt. Schöne Bilder, die man einfach gesehen haben muss und kaum beschreiben kann. Daher empfehlen wir diesen Film ganz dringend!
Mit rund 6 Minuten Laufzeit ist die Länge zudem sehr angenehm für eine kurze Pause zwischendurch!

While ski towns fall asleep they head into the mountains and see them awaking in a new light. The snow starts glistening again. It ́s just the sound of their skis turning in fresh snow that breaks the silence of the full moon night.

With this movie we wanted to capture that feeling of being out there skiing in a clear full moon night. There is not much that distracts you from the pure beauty of the mountains.” – Jochen Mesle
“Of course backcountry skiing at night is a challenge, but to shoot it without any artificial light at all was a different story. The team spent nine intense nights shooting and ski touring in the Austrian alps in winter 2019 to create this film.”
