Auch im Osten der USA gibt es gute Möglichkeiten sich als Freeskier im Park und Powder auszutoben. Beweise dafür gibt es in der Webserie “Promised Land” von Ski the East!
Promised Land 3.6: Killington Bump Bash
“Skiers travel far and wide across the region to the Beast of the East to shred the last remaining trail of the season – Superstar. Meathead Films legends The Hammer and Radio Ron join the party in this season finale of Promised Land. Bumps were bashed, high fives were slapped, and the waning days of the 21/22 season came to a close with a bang on the slopes of Killington, Vermont. Oh yeah, and there’s a naked guy.”
Promised Land 3.5: Mt. Washington – The Big One
“It’s the friggin’ big one man! Mt. Washington is the holy grail of East Coast backcountry skiing, and every time we go there it’s a hell of an adventure. The crew found some good turns in April, and the returned in May to find some very different snow conditions. From guts and glory, to hot garbage; this installment of Promised Land truly is a showcase of East Coast variability, and its skiers’ tenacity.”
Promised Land 3.4 : Jay Peak White Room
“Jay Peak, nestled high in Vermont near the Canadian border, is a true powder factory. The ‘Jay Cloud’ answered our prayers and provided a late season storm in March. The Ski The East crew ventured north to take advantage of Jay Peak’s steep terrain and powdery glory, resulting in one of our favorite trips of the season.”

The crew skis Mad River to harvest some powder in this installation of Promised Land, which makes for a great day at a storied ski area.”

Equipped with ice axes and crampons, the crew dives deep into the ADK backcountry while battling the elements in pursuit of the Promised Land.”
