Sander Hadley liefert mit seinem Winter-Recap 2025 ein dopes Edit, das seine Handschrift klar zeigt – trotz eingeschränkter Saison. Sein Segment in Matchstick Productions’ „Days of My Youth“ ist seit Jahren ein Fixpunkt in der Freeski-Historie; auch sein 2023er season edit bestätigte, dass er weiter starke lines abliefert.
Im Winter 2025 fuhr Hadley über weite Strecken unter Schmerzen, während er auf eine doppelte Hüft-OP wartete. Statt kurzer Clips entschied er sich, die Kamera laufen zu lassen und ein längeres Projekt zu schneiden.
„Life and the world are nuanced. I want to show you who I am, and there is much more to me than a five-second stunt. If you start creating for anyone other than yourself, you’ll quickly lose yourself. Just ask me, I’ve lost myself multiple times in the decade of this game, chasing what I think sponsors and others want me to be. Last winter, I just wanted to create something for myself.“
Meist auf weniger exponiertem Terrain unterwegs und mit einem kurzen Abstecher nach Alaska, hat Hadley ein ehrliches Projekt zusammen gebastelt, das Bock auf Ski fahren macht.

I spent most of my time at home hiking around and even got a last minute invite to Alaska for my first trip up there. Now that both hips are repaired, I’m feeling better and stronger than ever. “
